Undead Banshee little diorama. I used  for main miniature a Banshee  from the citadel 2000 catalog. With modelling paste I created the small hill- cemetery.  I made the cracked tombs with cork boards, also using the tombstones that appear in  zombies and skeletons plastic boxes from warhammer armies, and a pair of arms and zombified head.  The trees behind were created with twigs of shrubs picked on the country (I always look for natural elements that can be used later as stones, branches, moss ...). Then I applied some modelling sand. I painted everything black and when dried I gave a drybrush to the whole with white, to give the appearance of being a night scene bathed in moonlight ... Finally I applied Natural Umber pigment of Vallejo directly on the ground area to give naturalness.

Diorama Banshee No-Muerta. Utilicé como figura principal una Banshee del catalogo citadel del año 2000. Con pasta de modelar creé la pequeña colina- cementerio. Con plancha de corcho realicé las tumbas resquebrajadas, utilizando también las lápidas que aparecen en las cajas de zombies y esqueletos de plástico de ejércitos warhammer, así como un par de brazos y una cabeza zombificados. Los árboles de detrás los creé con pequeñas ramas de arbustos que recogí en una salida al campo (siempre busco elementos naturales que pueda utilizar después como piedras, ramas, musgo...). Después apliqué con cola blanca arena de modelismo. Pinté todo de negro y cuando se secó dí un pincel seco a todo el conjunto con blanco, para dar apariencia de ser una escena nocturna bañada por la luz de la luna... Finalmente apliqué pigmento sombra natural de la casa Vallejo directamente sobre la zona de tierra para darle naturalidad.

  Rat Ogre. Miniature from the Citadel 1994 catalogue. I think I bought 1995 and painted it in 2002. In 2014 I made a new base with modeling paste simulating a brick pavement and adding an old Skaven shield and a little of modeling grass.
 Also, I placed bristles from a toothbrush to do the times of rat whiskers!


 Rata Ogro. Esta miniatura apareció por primera vez en el catálogo Citadel del año 1994 y aguantó hasta principios de los 2000. La compré creo por el año 95 y la pinté sobre el 2002. En el 2014 le hice una nueva base con pasta de modelar, simulando un pavimento enladrillado. Añadí un viejo escudo Skaven y un poco de cesped ferroviario.
 Además, le coloqué unas cerdas de un cepillo de dientes para hacer las veces de los bigotes de rata!

In 2001 Games Workshop experienced a golden age in Spain. With te release of the sixth edition of the rules of Warhammer Fantasy Battle in Spanish. More homogeneous and easy play rules compared to what we had before, new armies and facelift of existing ones, and regiment plastic boxes for a more easy and economical chance to build one. Games Workshop stores surfaced throughout our country; before it, we had to look for specialty stores... And the White Dwarf magazine publishing in Spanish ...

  Until then my miniatures collection consisted of a compendium of different types of figures, I bought what I liked without looking further ... but thereafter began to form an Empire army, a sort of kingdoms between medieval and renaissance with certain Austro-Hungarian-Germanic reminiscences.

En 2001 Games Workshop vivió una época dorada en España. Salió la sexta edición de las reglas del Warhammer Fantasy Battle en español, unas reglas más homogéneas y jugables en comparación con lo que había antes, nuevos ejércitos y lavada de cara de los ya existentes, así como las cajas de regimiento de plástico que hacía más fácil y económico construirse uno. Las tiendas de Games Workshop afloraban por toda nuestra geografía, acercándonos el juego que ántes tenías que buscar en tiendas especializadas... Salía también la revista White Dwarf en español...

 Hasta ese momento mi colección de miniaturas se componía de un compendio de figuras de distinto tipo y pelaje, compraba lo que me gustaba sin mirar más allá... pero a partir de entonces comencé a formar un ejército del Imperio, una suerte de reinos entre medievales y renacentistas con ciertas reminiscencias germanico austro-húngaras.
